CRIME-FIGHTING HEROES

Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo are a band of pizza-loving brothers like no other. As four baby turtles exposed to ‘mutagenic ooze’, they were transformed into crime-fighting heroes expert in the art of ninjutsu. Guided by their sensei, a rat named Splinter, their mission is to end villainy on the streets of New York.

Celebrating 40 years of adventures in comic books, animated series, movies and computer games, the coin portrays the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in colour with their weapons, ready to unleash Turtle Power! The design also includes the official ‘40 YEARS OF TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES’ anniversary logo, and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

ABOUT THE PERTH MINT
